Hijab of Zainab began in 2022 with a small hijab stall and a big dream.
My name is Zainab Mirza, and I started this journey while I was still in middle school in Houston, Texas. With the love and support of my family, I was able to set up a small hijab stall at local events around Houston.
What started as a simple idea quickly became something I truly loved. Alhamdulillah, with every event, I gained new customers, made new friends, and learned something new. Each experience gave me the confidence to keep growing and dream bigger.
Four years later, as I enter my senior year of high school, I look back at that stall with so much gratitude. What began as a small dream in Houston has grown into an online hijab brand, allowing me to share my love for hijab far beyond Houston.
From the very beginning, I wanted Hijab of Zainab to hold a deeper meaning. I wanted to create something that was not simply about fashion, but connected to the beauty and meaning of hijab and to the remarkable woman whose name inspired the brand—Bibi Zainab (SA).
Her strength throughout the trials of Karbala have always been an inspiration to me, especially as I continue my own journey with hijab. This brand is my small tribute to Bibi Zainab (SA) and the legacy she left for generations of women. My hope is that every girl and woman who wears one of our hijabs feels confident, and connected to the deeper meaning behind her hijab.
